Technical, operational and commercial knowledge & services for industrial companies

Services

Three pillars: technical, operational and commercial, available separately within clearly defined projects.

Technical

3D CAD engineering

STC provides additional 3D CAD capacity to companies that lack sufficient in-house engineering resources. The work ranges from converting existing 2D drawings into manufacturable 3D models to fully engineering a concept or customer idea.

The client supplies the available information: sketches, 2D drawings, dimensions, tolerances, material data, photos and functional requirements. STC clarifies open points and develops the information into the agreed technical files.

Who it is for and what it delivers

Metalworking companies

STC turns customer ideas and existing 2D drawings into manufacturable 3D models, so you can also serve customers who cannot supply complete or usable technical drawings.

Technical wholesalers

Usable 3D CAD models and STEP files of technical products. Engineers can include components in their designs and BOMs more easily, increasing the chance that products are quoted and ordered.

Operational

Production and assembly aids

STC develops and produces practical poka-yoke tools for manufacturers that build and assemble mechanical products, machines or end modules, including machine builders and assembly companies.

The tools support production staff in correctly positioning, machining, mounting, assembling and checking mechanical parts, making error-prone operations simpler and more consistent.

After approval, STC develops the selected concept into a producible 3D CAD model and manufactures the tool with FDM printing where possible. The client tests and validates the prototype in their own production environment; findings are processed. Every tool receives an article and revision number so the correct version can easily be reordered later.

Who it is for and what it delivers

Machine builders and assembly companies

Practical custom tooling that makes error-prone production and assembly operations more consistent. This helps reduce assembly errors, rejects and rework without investing directly in complex automation, and can shorten lead times.

Commercial

New business development

STC helps industrial companies explore new markets and commercial opportunities across Europe. STC analyses the market, determines the most attractive customer segments and compiles a list of relevant potential customers. STC then supports the approach and qualification of these companies.

Project scope, agreements and payment obligations are recorded in collaboration with the client before the project starts. The approach is tailored to the client's needs and can be adjusted along the way.

Who it is for and what it delivers

Metalworking and production companies

Insight into attractive sectors and potential customers for their production capacity, manufactured parts and specialist services.

Technical OEM'ers

Insight into the market for their technical components, products and systems, and access to potential end users and system integrators.

Technical wholesalers

Identification of attractive markets and companies that need their products, brands or technical solutions.
